Grand Opening Ceremony

The Mayor delivering Africa City’s foremost cultural week and festival opening gives the first speech, and is the one to cut the ribbon at the memorial site and speeches from Ambassadors and Consul Generals marking the beginning of the celebrations.

Welcome Remarks

Emphasizing the unity, diversity, and the community pride, the city council members open the celebration by welcoming one and all to the African heritage.

Africa Walk of Fame

The Africa Walk of Fame is dedicated to the people who throughout history made a difference, alongside phenomenal leaders and cultural figureheads who is respected and admired by people all over the globe.

Cultural Parade

Fronted by a Masquerade troupe, and at an African rhythm, this parade is all about pride, color, and dance.

Dance Intermissions

The dance crews from USC, UCLA, and UC Riverside blazed the stage, as other people watched, with their one-of-a-kind narratives filled with rhythm and inspiration.

Special Addresses

Their addresses, filled with comments about Africa’s role and importance on this planet, diplomacy, and culture, are something to always remember.

Evening Red Carpet Reception

Then the event shifts to the festve part of the day where guests will be savoring culinary delights while the people around enjoy the live african music on the background.
